The Home Department issued transfer orders for several senior police officers in the state late Thursday night.
Mumbai: Senior police officers in the state have been transferred. Pune Police Commissioner Dr. K. Venkatesh has been appointed Additional Director General of Police (Special Operations) in Mumbai. He has been replaced by Home Secretary Amitabh Gupta as Commissioner of Police. (Maharashtra Police IPS Officer Transfer)

A transfer order has been issued for 22 Superintendents of Police and Abhinav Deshmukh has been appointed as Pune Rural Superintendent of Police. Shivdeep Lande has been transferred to the Anti-Terrorism Squad as Deputy Inspector General of Police.
